Terms and Conditions

Axt Haus Limited – Terms and Conditions

Last updated: August 2026

Before booking or participating in any activities at Axt Haus, please carefully read and understand these Terms and Conditions. By making a booking, the person making the booking confirms that they have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions on behalf of themselves and, where applicable, all members of their group.

If you are making a group booking, you are responsible for ensuring that all members of your group are aware of and comply with these Terms and Conditions.

1. General Booking Conditions

  1. Axt Haus Limited reserves the right to refuse or cancel a booking where reasonably necessary, including for health and safety, operational or unforeseen circumstances.

  2. Axt Haus Limited reserves the right to refuse participation where, in our reasonable opinion, a participant is physically unable or medically unsuitable to take part safely, including where they are affected by an injury, illness or other condition.

  3. Participants must not take part in axe throwing or any other activity while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Anyone who appears to be intoxicated or otherwise unfit to participate will not be permitted to take part and will not be entitled to a refund.

  4. All participants must follow the instructions of Axt Haus staff at all times. Failure to follow safety instructions may result in the participant being removed from the activity or venue without refund.

  5. Participants must be aged 12 or over to participate in axe throwing.

  6. Participants aged 12–17 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian aged 18 or over and must have the appropriate parental/legal guardian consent and waiver completed.

  7. Axt Haus operates a Challenge 25 policy. Valid photographic identification may be required where a customer wishes to purchase alcohol and appears to be under 25.

  8. A booking confirmation will be issued once a booking has been successfully completed.

  9. Lane Sharing: Unless a private lane or exclusive booking has been specifically booked and confirmed, participants may be required to share a throwing lane with other customers. Axt Haus operates mixed-lane sessions, meaning your group may participate alongside other customers. By making a booking, you acknowledge and accept that your group may be participating alongside other customers.

2. Bookings and Payments

  1. Bookings can be made through the Axt Haus website or directly with Axt Haus.

  2. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment must be made in full at the time of booking to secure the reservation.

  3. Bookings are subject to the cancellation and rescheduling terms set out below.

  4. We accept card and cash payments. Cash payments must be made at the venue in advance of the booking.

  5. Prices displayed on our website are inclusive of VAT where applicable.

3. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  1. Requests to cancel or reschedule a booking must be made at least 72 hours before the scheduled session start time.

  2. Cancellation or rescheduling requests must be communicated directly to Axt Haus Limited.

  3. Bookings cancelled with at least 72 hours’ notice may be rescheduled, subject to availability. Any refund will be considered in accordance with the booking terms applicable at the time of purchase.

  4. Bookings cancelled with less than 72 hours’ notice are non-refundable and may not be rescheduled.

  5. Failure to attend a booking without prior notice will be treated as a no-show and will not be eligible for a refund or rescheduling.

  6. These cancellation terms do not affect any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer law.

4. Late Arrivals and No-Shows

  1. We strongly recommend arriving at least 20 minutes before your scheduled booking time to allow sufficient time for check-in, waiver completion and the safety briefing.

  2. Your session will begin promptly at the scheduled booking time and will finish at the advertised time. Late arrival will not normally result in an extension to your session.

  3. If you arrive after your session has started, we will do our best to accommodate you where possible. However, if you arrive too late to join safely or without disrupting the session for other participants, we may not be able to allow you to participate.

  4. Where a booking is on a mixed lane, late arrival can disrupt the experience and timing of other customers who have arrived on time. For this reason, we reserve the right to refuse participation to anyone arriving too late to join without causing significant disruption to the session. In these circumstances, the booking will not be eligible for a refund.

  5. For group bookings and private events, delays caused by late-arriving participants may result in the session being shortened. The original session end time will generally remain unchanged.

  6. Failure to attend a booking without prior notice will be treated as a no-show and will not be eligible for a refund or rescheduling.

5. Age and Other Restrictions

  1. All participants must be aged 12 or over to participate in axe throwing.

  2. Participants aged 12–17 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian aged 18 or over.

  4. Children under the age of 12 are not permitted within Axt Haus.

  5. Anyone suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to participate.

  6. Anyone who becomes intoxicated or otherwise unfit to participate during their visit will be removed from the activity and may be asked to leave the venue without refund.

7. Waivers

  1. All participants must complete and sign an Axt Haus waiver before participating in axe throwing.

  2. The waiver confirms that the participant understands the nature of the activity and agrees to follow the venue’s safety rules and instructions.

  3. Participants aged 12–17 must have the appropriate waiver and consent completed by a parent or legal guardian aged 18 or over.

  4. A participant who refuses or fails to complete the required waiver will not be permitted to participate.

8. Code of Conduct

  1. All participants are expected to behave respectfully towards other customers, staff and members of the public.

  2. Aggressive, threatening, abusive, discriminatory, inappropriate or unsafe behaviour will not be tolerated.

  3. Axt Haus reserves the right to remove any participant from an activity or the venue where their behaviour presents a safety risk, negatively affects other customers or staff, or otherwise breaches these Terms and Conditions.

  4. Participants removed from an activity or venue due to their behaviour will not normally be entitled to a refund.
