Chester’s German-Themed Indoor Axe Throwing Experience!
Step 1
Guten Tag and Safety First!
On arrival (20 minutes before your booked time) at Axt Haus you will be greeted with a hearty “Hallo” from our friendly team.
Firstly they will ensure all waivers are signed – waivers must be signed by anyone who wishes to axe throw – no waiver – no throw!
At the start of your session before we proceed with the axe slinging action, safety is our top priority therefore you will undergo a quick yet thorough safety debriefing – think of it as your crash course in staying safe while hurling sharp objects.
Don’t worry though it’s less intimidating than it sounds and our instructors will make it as entertaining as possible. Plus we have safety measures in place to ensure everyone stays in one piece – we are all about keeping the fun safe and sound!
Step 2
Let the games begin
Now that your armed with knowledge and your safety speech is complete its time to get throwing! Grab your trusty axe (don’t worry its not actually heavy!) and take aim at your target like a pro – you will have time for practice throws and our expert instructors will be on hand to provide guidance, tips and will even get some games on the go for some friendly competition.
Step 3
Enjoy yourselves
Once you’ve finished axe throwing, don’t forget to enjoy a bier and some fun in the bar next door!
Rules of the Haus

We had a great visit to Act Haus for a friends birthday. We were a large group and took over 2 lanes. The instructors were great and knowledgeable, offered help with throwing tips and kept everyone safe. There's a bar and darts game there too, which was super fun in a large group. The staff were great, helpful and couldn't do enough for everyone.Posted on Google![]()
